In the first week of the new academic year, SMJK Heng Ee Jalan Hamilton invited ViTrox Academy and ViTrox College to host a series of engaging workshops on February 18 and 19 for their students. A total of 251 students from Form 1, Form 2, and Form 5 participated in these interactive sessions designed to ignite their passion for STEM and guide them in their future educational pathways.
To warmly welcome the Form 1 students stepping into high school for the first time, we organized exciting STEM game booths incorporating mathematics, science, and robotics concepts. These hands-on activities aimed to spark curiosity and foster their interest in STEM subjects.
Despite only knowing each other for a few days, the students demonstrated impressive teamwork as they worked together to complete the station games. Meanwhile, Form 2 students also eagerly joined in the activities, showing great enthusiasm and energy throughout the sessions.
On February 19, ViTrox College shifted the focus to the Form 5 students with an insightful educational talk, “What’s Next After SPM?”, along with an exclusive public speaking workshop. During the talk, students explored their career interests through a career assessment test and received valuable guidance on selecting suitable courses and colleges.
Under the coaching of our professional trainers, the Form 5 students also gained confidence in expressing themselves using various public speaking techniques which can be an essential skill for their future endeavors, after attending the public speaking workshops.
We are thrilled to see students benefit from these workshops, not only academically but also in practical and personal development.
