On 17 January, ViTrox College extended a special welcome to the Forest Educarion x Your Next Chapter (YNC) visit to our campus. With 22 students, the day was packed with exciting activities that foster creativity, self-discovery, and career exploration.
The event started with an amazing night lamp workshop where students engaged with the night light compose circuit to discover how to build a simple circuit by using a breadboard with the application of sensors and create a responsive lighting solution.
One of the highlights of the day was Forest Education's career and personality activities. These activities not only connected students to real-world career fields but also offered invaluable insights into their potential career paths and helped them better understand their strengths, working styles, and unique traits.
In addition, the students were given a mission to create video logs capturing their one-day experiences at ViTrox Campus. This activity challenged students to creatively document the day’s events highlighting key moments such as the hands-on workshop, career activities, and the campus tour. The competition honed their storytelling and videography skills and encouraged them to think critically about how to present their experiences in an impactful way.
Finally, the day’s activities ended with an immersive tour around the college campus. Being an industry-centric school, students were able to explore many of our cutting-edge facilities such as the manufacturing floor, office area, classrooms, and labs. The tour allowed the students to envision the possibilities of studying and innovating in such a forward-thinking environment where they observed the integration of advanced machinery and cutting-edge technology in action.
